Joydens Riding Club

Members of Joydens Riding Club Joydens Riding Club was set up in 1953 and became an affiliated riding club in 1956. It is one of the elite band of clubs associated to the British Horse Society.

It has been a very successful club with many championship wins to it name, and is nearly always represented at the national finals each September at Malvern, Worcestershire.

It has a particularly strong junior section. The juniors have won the national showjumping final two years running in 1994 and 1995, and have been in the top six since then.

The riding club does not have a base of its own, preferring instead to encourage its enthusiastic committee members to use facilities in and around the riding community, thereby enhancing communication and co-operation from riders and many equestrian businesses.

Many shows and events are held throughout the year from indoor showjumping to dressage and beach rides for the less competitive. There is a good social section for every member and their families.

Membership is open to all enthusiastic 'horsey' people, even if you do not own a horse or pony.
